PATE A CHOUX & CREME PATISSIERE

Want to make france pastry at home? Pate a choux and Creme patissiere is the basic recipe for france pastry. Once you can make it, you master it, you can try any different european pastry :D. This (pate a choux) and this (creme patissiere) is the video recipe that i follow..You can follow this link too if you want to make eclairs

Pate a choux 
Ingredients
½ cup water (120 ml)
¼ cup unsalted butter (1 half stick; 57 g)
½ teaspoon salt (2.5 g)
1/2 cup + 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour (75 g)
2 eggs



Pate a choux
Butter, salt, water boiled together in a saucepan (medium heat)
Remove from heat and add flour 
Back to heat and mixed well
Let the dough cool and add the eggs 
Mixed together and your pate a choux is ready :D



Creme Patissiere
Ingredients
6 egg yolks
1/2 cup granulated sugar (100g) * change in measurement
4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
4 tablespoons corn starch
2 ½ cups whole milk (590ml)
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

 Heat the milk in a saucepan for two minutes and stirring 
 In a bowl add egg yolks and sugar (creme together) than add flour and corn starch and whisk until combine.
Add milk all at once and stir until combine 
 Pour the mixture back in a same saucepan over medium heat bring to a boil and stirring constantly
 Lower the heat and add vanilla extract
 Simmer until it thickens 
 Transfer to a bowl and cover with a plastic wrap, after it cool. Store in a refrigerator
Butter your baking pan 
Fill the creme patissiere and pate a choux into pastry bag
Melt the chocolate if you want to make eclairs


You can make any kind of shape with pate a choux
Bring to the oven and Voila..! 
Fill with creme pattisiere 
Or just put it on top
You can add strawberry or any fruit you like
